The current season, day by day

Snow falling on the Atlas in winter melts in spring and feeds rivers and dams: it is a deferred water reserve. Values in centimetres of fresh snow. Most snowfall usually starts in November or December, so the October total is close to zero. Source: ERA5 reanalysis via Open-Meteo, four points (Ifrane, Jbel Ayachi, Imilchil, Oukaimeden). The ~25 km grid smooths the relief: values are lower than what falls on the summits and are mainly useful for comparing seasons.
